Procedure

3-Cyclohexenylprop-2-yn-1-ol (2.509 g, 26.10 mmol) and 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisilazane (1.527 g, 11.45 mmol) were used according to the method mentioned above to produce the title compound as a brown clear liquid (3.916 g, 20.15 mmol, 77.2%). The crude reaction mixture was analyzed by 1H NMR to confirm the product formation and used in KOtBu catalyzed transhydrosilylation reaction.
