{4-[3-Fluoro-5-(4-methylpiperidin-1-yl)-benzoylamino]-naphthalen-1-yloxy}-acetic acid methyl ester (0.40 g, 0.88 mmol) in a solution of 1M hydrazine in tetrahydrofuran (10 ml) is heated at 80° C. for five hours. After cooling to room temperature the mixture is evaporated to dryness to give 3-fluoro-N-(4-hydrazinocarbonylmethoxy-naphthalen-1-yl)-5-(4-methylpiperidin-1-yl)-benzamide (0.40 g). MS: 451 (M+1).
