Reaction Steps
A solution of 4.65 g of the product of Step A, 100 ml of ethanol and 9.94 ml of tert-butylamine was stirred at reflux for 2 hours and the solution was distilled to dryness. The 6.83 g of residue were chromatographed on silica (eluant: ethyl acetate triethylamine (9-1)) to obtain 4.77 g of the desired product.
