Reaction Steps
1-[1-(2-Hydroxyethoxy)ethyl]-5-fluorouracil (2 g) obtained in Example 2 was treated with acetic anhydride and pyridine as in Example 2 to give 2 g of 1-[1-(2-acetoxyethoxy)-ethyl]-5-fluorouracil.
