Reaction Steps
To the product of Example 6 (0.19 g, 0.52 mmol) in ETOH, add 1.0N NaOH (3.0 ml), stir 45 min and add 1.0N HCl (3.0 ml). Extract with EtOAc, dry and concentrate to obtain the title compound as a gum, [α]D26 =+2.8° (EtOH)
