5 g (0.0318 mol) of 2-chloropyrimidine-4-carboxamide, 4.55 g (0.0318 mol) of 1,4-dioxa-8-azaspiro[4.5]decane and 6.6 g (0.0477 mol) of potassium carbonate are introduced into 100 ml of 2-butanone. The mixture is heated and stirred at reflux temperature for 6 hours. The mixture is filtered and the filtrate is concentrated under reduced pressure. 8.2 g of product are obtained which are recrystallised from 2-propanol. 4.1 g of product are obtained.
