To a solution of 66.50C (0.1666 g, 0.481 mmol) in dry DCM (3 mL) and dry DMF (0.06 mL) was added thionyl chloride (0.07 mL, 0.96 mmol) at 0° C. The resulting solution was warmed to room temperature and monitored with TLC and LCMS. After 45 minutes, the reaction was concentrated and then purified by silica gel flash chromatography (0-5% EtOAc/hexane) to afford 66.50D (172.1 mg, 98% yield). 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) δ ppm 7.46 (2H, m), 7.39 (1H, m), 7.33 (1H, m), 7.28 (1H, d, J=1.7 Hz), 7.17 (1H, m), 6.62 (1H, t), 5.51 (1H, td, J=2.3, 1.0 Hz), 4.64 (2H, s), 2.24 (2H, td, J=7.1, 2.4 Hz), 1.68 (2H, m), 0.85 (6H, s).
