LAH (1.0 M solution in THF) (0.088 mL, 0.088 mmol) was added slowly to a solution of 66.69B (0.034 g, 0.088 mmol) in THF (1 mL). The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 25 minutes and then was poured into brine (2 mL) and extracted with EtOAc (3×30 mL). The combined organic layers were dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. After removing solvent, the residue was purified by flash chromatography (silica gel, 1:1 EtOAc/hexane) and gave 66.69C (22 mg) as a colorless oil.
