To a solution of 66.60E (0.388 g, 0.801 mmol) in MeOH (17 mL) (degassed by N2), was added palladium-carbon (0.0853 g, 0.801 mmol). The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature under H2 for 23 hours. After removing solvent, the residue was purified by flash chromatography (silica gel, 1:19 EtOAc/hexane) and gave 65 mg of 69.43A. MS ESI (pos.) m/e: 376 (M+18)+.
