The mixture of 8-cyclobutyl-3-pentyl-2-thioxo-1,2,3,7-tetrahydro-6H-purin-6-one (0.6 g, 2.0 mmol) in 20 M of hydrazine in water (20 mL) was stirred at 100° C. overnight.
