To a solution of tert-butyl 4-(4-methyl-3-(5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-2-yloxy)benzylidene)piperidine-1-carboxylate (0.50 g, 0.0011 mol) in CH2Cl2 (5 mL) cooled to 0° C. under a N2 atmosphere was added TFA (0.85 mL, 0.011 mol) slowly. The resulting mixture was stirred for 2 h at RT. The reaction was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (440 mg).
