A solution of 13 (14.6 g, 35.6 mmol) and (S)-2-amino-3-methylbutan-1-ol (14) (3.95 g, 36.7 mmol) in THF (35 mL) was stirred at rt for 30 minutes (min). The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to give crude 15 as a yellow oil which was used without further purification.
