A suspension of 8-(4-[1,3]dioxolan-2-yl-phenyl)-9-phenyl-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-f][1,6]naphthyridin-3-ol (3-5, 2.7 g, 6.6 mmol) in dioxane (20 mL) and 2N HCl (20 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 20 min. It was concentrated to remove most dioxane at 25° C. The residue was poured into ice cold water to give a brown solid which was collected via filtration and dried with toluene azeotropically to give the title compound. LRMS m/z (M+1) Calcd: 367.1. Found 367.1.
