Reaction equation
[Na+:1].[Cl-:2].[Cl-].[K+:4].[OH:5][P:6]([O-:9])([OH:8])=[O:7].[K+]>>[OH:7][P:6]([O-:9])([OH:8])=[O:5].[OH:7][P:6]([O-:9])([O-:8])=[O:5].[Na+:1].[Na+:1].[Na+:1].[Cl-:2].[Cl-:2].[K+:4].[K+:4]Participants

Procedure
The spent medium was poured off the monolayer and discarded. The monolayer then was rinsed twice with 10 ml phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% ethylenediamine tetracetic acid (EDTA), at pH 7.4. The PBS was prepared by dissolving 80 grams NaCl, 2 grams KCl, 2 grams KH2PO4 and 21.6 grams Na2HPO4.7H2O in 10 liters distilled water.
