Participants
| Role | Name | HCID | Charge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reactant | Potassium Chloride | HCID 4873 | — |
| Reactant | Sodium Chloride | HCID 5234 | — |
| Reactant | Monobasic potassium phosphate | HCID 516951 | — |
| Product | Phosphate Buffered Saline | HCID 24978514 | — |
Reaction Steps
The spent medium was poured off the monolayer and discarded. The monolayer then was rinsed twice with 10 ml phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% ethylenediamine tetracetic acid (EDTA), at pH 7.4. The PBS was prepared by dissolving 80 grams NaCl, 2 grams KCl, 2 grams KH2PO4 and 21.6 grams Na2HPO4.7H2O in 10 liters distilled water.
