The title compound is prepared from commercially available 4-amino-3-chloro-5-methylbenzonitrile in analogy to 4,N-dihydroxy-3,5-dimethyl-benzamidine; LC-MS: tR=0.50 min; [M+1]+=200.01; 1H NMR (D6-DMSO): δ 2.15 (s, 3H), 5.20 (s, 2H), 5.61 (s, 2H), 7.28 (s, 1H), 7.40 (s, 1H), 9.33 (s, 1H).
