To a stirring solution of 2-(4-Chloro-7-methylquinazolin-2-yl)-phenol (100 mg, 0.35 mmol), Et3N (72 μL, 0.52 mmol), and CH2Cl2 (300 μL) under N2, was added 4-aminopiperidine (54 μL, 0.52 mmol). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The mixture was evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography using 98% CH2Cl2/2% MeOH to obtain the desired amine as a white solid (11 mg, 0.31 mmol, 89% yield). LC/MS (10-99%) M/Z 349.3 retention time 2.22 min.
