Procedure

The title compound was synthesized (4.8 g, quant.) following a similar procedure as set out earlier in Description 54 starting from 3-bromophenol (3 g, 17.3 mmol) and benzylbromide (2.1 ml); Rt (HPLC): 6.42 min.
