In analogy to the procedure described in example 2.2, 3-chloro-4-[3-[2-(4-chloro-phenyl)-2H-indazol-3-yl]-3-(2-methoxy-ethyl)-ureido]-benzoic acid methyl ester was treated with 1 N aqueous lithium hydroxide solution in THF/MeOH 1/1 for 14 h at ambient temperature to give the title compound as yellow foam. MS: m/e=497.1 [M−H−].
