Procedure
Acetyl guanidine (2.6 g, 25.7 mmol, 3.0 eq) was dissolved in anhydrous DMF (40 mL) and 2-bromo-1-(4-trifluoromethoxy-phenyl)-ethanone (2.4 g, 8.6 mmol, 1.0 eq) was added; the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 4 days. DMF was removed under reduced pressure, the residue was washed with water, filtered and dried over sodium sulphate; after crystallization from MeOH 0.7 g of the title compound were recovered (yield 30%).
