Procedure
(3-Cyanophenyl)boronic acid (17 mg, 0.12 mmol), 0.6 M potassium carbonate (aq) (0.2 ml, 0.12 mmol) and Pd(dppf)Cl2 (10 mg, 0.014 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (1 ml) were treated with N-(6-bromo-1H-indazol-4-yl)-2-methyl-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxamide (40 mg, 0.12 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (1 ml). The reaction was heated in a CEM Discover microwave at 150° C. for 30 mins. After cooling the solvent was removed in vacuo. The residue was dissolved in MeOH and loaded onto a C18 SPE cartridge eluting with 0.1% TFA in MeCN (3×3 ml). The solvent was removed under a stream of nitrogen. The residue was purified by MDAP (Method C) to give the title compound.
