A solution of Example 18B (0.230 g) in trifluoroacetic acid (5.6 mL) was heated at 60° C. for 1.5 hours then cooled, poured into water, and filtered. NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 12.88 (m, 1H), 8.33 (m, 1H), 6.32 (m, 1H), 4.14 (m, 4H), 2.72 (s, 3H), 2.38 (m, 2H). (C(O)OH not observed).
