Reaction Steps
A solution of EXAMPLE 20B (0.12 g) in trifluoroacetic acid (6 mL) was stirred for 10 minutes and concentrated; and the concentrate was azeotroped with toluene to provide the desired product. NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 8.51 (s, 1H), 8.03 (m, 1H), 4.58 (m, 2H), 4.26 (m, 2H), 4.16 (br s, 1H).
