Procedure

A solution of Example 79A (128 mg) in 1:1 6M HCl/ethanol (15 mL) was refluxed for 24 hours then cooled, diluted with water, and filtered. NMR (300 MHz, DMSO) δ 15.22 (s, 1H), 13.11 (br s, 1H), 8.47 (s, 1H), 8.38 (s, 1H), 3.84-3.80 (m, 4H), 1.95-1.91 (m, 4H).
