A suspension of EXAMPLE 82A (0.50 g) in methanol (100 mL) at reflux was treated with 1M LiOH (50 mL), stirred for 3 hours then cooled, treated with 10% citric acid, and filtered to provide the desired product. NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 17.21 (s, 1H), 8.68 (s, 1H), 8.32 (s, 1H), 4.29 (m, 4H), 2.26 (m, 2H).
