Reaction Steps
A solution of EXAMPLE 228A (0.1 g) in ethanol (1 mL) at 25° C. was treated with 1N NaOH (1 mL), stirred for 18 hours at 50° C., cooled to 25° C., neutralized using 10% HCl, and filtered. NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 3.7-4.5 (m, 6H), 8.0 (d, 1H), 8.42 (bs, 1H), 8.49 (d, 2H), 13.41 (m, 1H).
