424 mg (1.21 mmol) of 2-acetyl-3-(4-nitrophenyl)-N-(3-phenyl-2-propene-1-yl)acrylamide and 187 mg (1.21 mmol) of 2-cyanoethyl 3-aminocrotonate were heated at 70° C. under stirring in 10 ml of 2-propanol for 2 days. 2-Propanol was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was purified by the silica gel chromatography (dichloromethane/methanol=100/1) to obtain the title compound.
