Reaction of a methanolic suspension of 3,4-dimethoxy-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1,1-dioxide with one equivalent of methylamine and treatment of the resultant 3-methoxy-4-methylamino-1,2,5-thiadiazole 1,1-dioxide with one equivalent of 2-[(2-dimethylaminomethyl-4-thiazolyl)methylthio]ethylamine [prepared in Example 33, Step E], produces the title compound which is identical to the product prepared in Example 33.
