Procedure

Fluid bed catalyst having the formula V1.0 P1.2 U0.2 Ox was prepared according to the procedure set forth in Examples 1-7 above, except that 935.5 g uranyl acetate dihydrate was substituted for the cobalt compound. Results of the fluid bed (80 cc) production of maleic anhydride from n-butane using the catalyst of Example 8 are listed in Table I.
