Reaction Steps
Reaction of 4-methyl-5-[(2-aminoethyl)thiomethyl]-imidazole with 1,1-dicyano-2,2-bis methylthioethylene by the procedure of Example 8(i) yields1,1-dicyano-2-methylthio-2-[2-((4-methyl-5-imidazolyl)methylthio)ethylamino]ethylene. (iii) Reaction of this methylthio compound with 2-(3-aminopropyl)thiooxazole by the procedure of Example 1(a) (ii) gives the title compound.
