Procedure

Under the conditions of example 5A, 100 mg of 5-(3-carboxybenzoyl)-2-[6-(4-methoxyphenyl)-(5E)-5-hexenyloxy]-phenoxy acetic acid is reacted with 31 mg of sodium borohydride in 5 ml of dioxane and 0.5 ml of water and worked up (>pH 3-4). 90 mg of the title compound is obtained as colorless oil.
