[2-(3-{2-[4-(4-chloro-3-methoxy-phenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-2-oxo-ethyl}-2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-benzooxazol-6-yloxy)-ethyl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (58) (50 mg) was dissolved in HCl-dioxane (2 ml) and the resultant solution was stirred for 1 hour and concentrated to dryness. The crude residue was purified by HPLC to provide 6-(2-amino-ethoxy)-3-{2-[4-(4-chloro-3-methoxy-phenyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-2-oxo-ethyl}-3H-benzooxazol-2-one: LCMS observed for (M+H)+: 461.5.
