To a solution of N-(benzoxazol-2-yl)-N-(3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propyl)-3-hydrox ybenzylamine (530 mg) in acetonitrile (10 mL), potassium carbonate (272 mg) in a powder form was added at room temperature, and the resulting mixture was stirred for 10 minutes. The solution of n-butyl (S)-2-trifluoromethanesulfonyloxybutyrate (587 mg) in acetonitrile (10 mL) prepared in Preparative Example 6 was added to the reaction solution, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 14 hours. Water was added to the reaction solution, the mixture was extracted with toluene, and the extract was washed with saturated brine and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. The solution was filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure, and then the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (hexane/ethyl acetate=2/1) to obtain a colorless oil (748 mg, 100%).
