2-(2,4-Dichlorophenyl)-1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-5-methyl-N-piperidin-1-yl-1H-imidazole-4-carboxamide, prepared as described in Ex. 2, Step 1 (50 mg, 0.11 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (3.0 ml), cooled to 0° C. and triethylamine (20 μl, 0.13 mmol) was added to the mixture. The resulting mixture was cooled to −78° C. and 3-methylbutane-1-sulfonyl chloride (23 mg, 0.13 mmol) was carefully added. The reaction was stirred at −78° C. for 1.5 h. Water was added to the reaction, the product extracted with dichloromethane and dried. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and separation by preparatory HPLC gave the title compound (46 mg, 71%) as a solid.
