The procedure described in Example 24 was repeated, but using 1.0 g of 1-methyl-3-(pyrrolidin-1-ylmethyl)piperazine trihydrochloride, 2.1 ml of triethylamine and 0.75 g of 5-methyl-3-oxoindan-1-carbonyl chloride, to afford 0.84 g of the title compound, melting at 220°-223° C. (dec.).
