실험 절차

1.40 g (5.95 mmol) of (2Z)-3,4-dimethyl-2-{(2E)-[(1-methyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)methylidene]hydrazono}-2,3-dihydro-1,3-thiazole from Step 1 and 7.58 9 (59.50 mmol) [sic] of dimethyl sulfate in acetone were heated at reflux for 2 hours. After the solvent was removed, the precipitate was suction-filtered off, washed with ethyl acetate and dried under vacuum.
