A mixture of Example 108C (140 mg, 0.34 mmol), 10% Pd/C (73 mg, 0.03 mmol), methanol (4 mL), and THF (8 mL) was stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere for 45 minutes and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated to an oil which was triturated with diethyl ether to provide the desired product. MS (ESI(−)) m/e 315 (M−H)−; 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 7.80 (m, 2H), 7.56 (m, 4H), 7.22 (d, 1H), 3.32 (br s, 2H), 2.56 (s, 3H).
