Reaction Steps
Was prepared from (41) (0.35 g) and ethyl iodide (0.4 g) in abs. ethanol (30 ml). heating to 60° C. for 8 h, and subsequently at room temperature for 48 h in the presence of K2CO3 (0.4 g). Purification as described for compound (7) gave a yield of 38% of (42). M.p. 225.8°-228.1° C.
