Procedure
7 g (0.025 mole) of 2-methyl-5-[2-(2,3-epoxy-propoxy)-styryl]-1,3,4-thiadiazole and 2.9 g (0.05 mole) of isopropylamine are brought together in 100 ml of isopropanol and the mixture is refluxed for 7 hours. After cooling, the solvent is distilled off and the residue obtained is recrystallized from toluene.
