Procedure

In a reaction vessel 1.73 parts CF4 diol produced from Example 23, was reacted with 0.84 parts hexamethylene diisocyanate in 70 parts of tetrahydrofuran at room temperature for 4 hours in the presence of a catalytic amount of DBTE and TEA. The product was precipitated with heptane and filtered. After washing several times with heptane, it was vacuum dried to yield 1.7 parts of XXV, a light tan fluffy material, melting point, 161.3° to 165.1° C.
