Procedure

To a solution of 0.330 g of the intermediate obtained from Step A in 5 mL of ethanol at was added 1 drop of triethylamine and hydrogenated with hydrogen balloon for 3 h. The catalyst was filtered off through a pad of celite and washed with ethyl acetate. The filtrate was concentrated to give 0.269 g of the product as a colorless foam.
