Procedure

t-Butyl N-[6-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyloxy)imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazin-2-yl]carbamate (Example 13, 0.43 g, 1 mmol) was dissolved in dichloromethane (2 ml) and treated with trifluoroacetic acid (1 ml). After 2 h at ambient temperature the mixture was evaporated in vacuo to give a brown oil which was triturated with diethyl ether to give the title compound (0.25 g) as a cream solid, m.p. 150°-157°, NMR δH (DMSO) 8.0 (1 H, JAB 8.8 Hz, 8 H), 7.48 (1 H, s, 3 H), 7.16 (1 H, JAB 8.8 Hz, 7 H), 6.44 (2 H, s, CH2), 4.5 (brs, NH3), 3.89 (6 H, s, OMe) and 3.75 (3 H, s, OMe).
