Procedure

2 ml of a 1M solution of tetrabutylammonium fluoride were added under an inert gas atmosphere to a solution of 1.5 g of the dichlorinated product of Stage C in 5 ml of tetrahydrofuran and the mixture was stirred at ambient temperature for 30 minutes to obtain the desired product.
