Reaction Steps
In tetrahydrofuran was dissolved 1.92 g of the compound obtained in Example 43, followed by addition of 1.72 g of 2-iodoethanol and 0.69 g of potassium carbonate. The mixture was refluxed overnight and after-treated to give crystals. This crystal crop was recrystallized from ethanol to provide 0.46 g of the title compound,(light yellow needles). m.p. 152-153° C.
