Reaction Steps
A suspension of 2-ethyl 7-methyl 10-oxo-10H-pyridazino[6,1-b]quinazoline-2,7-dicarboxylate (Example 3, Step A) in 10% hydrochloric acid was refluxed under nitrogen for 12 h. The mixture was cooled and filtered to give the titled compound as a yellow solid, mp>360° C.
