Procedure

Following the general method as outlined in Example 73, starting from 6-[cyclohexyl(cyclopropylmethyl)amino]-N-(4-formylphenyl)pyrimidine-4-carboxamide (Intermediate 24) and 1-boc-piperazine (Fluka), the title compound was obtained as a white solid after purification by column chromatography (silica) eluting with cyclohexane containing increasing amounts of EtOAc.
