A mixture of [1-(2-nitro-phenylamino)-cyclohexyl]-acetic acid methyl ester (230 mg, 0.79 mmol), 10% Pd/C (80 mg) in EtOH (20 mL) under H2 atmosphere at room temperature was stirred for 16 h. The reaction mixture was filtered and the organic layer was concentrated to give the desired [1-(2-amino-phenylamino)-cyclohexyl]-acetic acid methyl ester (205 mg, 99%).
