The amine, 4-((8-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-3-yloxy)methyl)-5-cyclopropyl-3-(2-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl)-isoxazole (125 mg, 0.31 mmol), dimethylacetamide (1.5 mL), methyl 6-chloro-4-methylnicotinate (157 mg, 0.93 mmol), and cesium carbonate (303 mg, 0.93 mmol) were combined sequentially and heated to 60° C. for 2 hours. The mixture was diluted with water and extracted with ethyl acetate (2×10 mL). The organics were dried (MgSO4) then evaporated in vacuo. The product was purified by flash silica chromatography with a gradient of 0-100% ethyl acetate/hexanes to furnish the desired compound as a clear oil.
