Prepared from 4-bromo-2,6-dichlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride (1.00 g, 3.19 mmol) and 4-amino-3,5-dimethylisoxazole (0.346 g, 3.1 mmol) in pyridine (6 ml) according to the method of intermediate 1, to give the title compound as a tan solid (606 mg, 1.51 mmol, 49%). δH (CDCl3, 300K) 7.70 (2H, s), 6.66 (1H, s), 2.23 (3H, s), 2.05 (3H, s). m/z (ES+, 70V) 400.9 (MH+).
