To a solution of tert-butyl 4-(2,2-difluoropropoxyl)phenethylcarbamate (95 mg, 0.30 mmol) in DCM (2 mL) was added TFA (1 mL) at 0˜5° C. The resulting reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1.5 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated to give the crude product, which was used directly for next step without further purification (70 mg crude). MS (ESI) m/z 216.1 [M+H]+.
